About Lumsden Beach Camp

Lumsden Beach Camp did not happen by chance. It was created by faith filled people who had a vision. This bold vision, blessed by God, became reality in 1905. This camp is a special place where adults and children come together to learn about God and each other. Still today we come to this special place, seeking to know God, renew our faith, make lasting friendships, and have tons of fun.

Lumsden Beach Camp is a non-profit charitable organization owned and operated by the United Church. The camp runs weekly programs throughout July and August for children and youth ages 6-16. Lumsden Beach Camp also provides day camps and rental opportunities in the month of June to school groups, boy scouts, girl guides and other organizations.

Our Programs are planned to meet the needs of our campers. A full camp day will include a balance of active and passive activities. Campers and their counsellors live together in cabins and plan each day with guidance and supervision from qualified, enthusiastic staff.
