Head Cook

You are going to love this job!

Do you love being in the kitchen?  Do you have a passion for food preparation? Do you love spending time outdoors?  Do you want to have a fun and memorable summer in 2024? Do you want to work in a newly constructed dining hall?

If so, Lumsden Beach Camp wants to hear from you!

You will join an amazing group of people who come together to build friendships, learn new skills and spend time in nature. Although our kitchen can be busy, we want to set our Head Cook up for success, by hiring extra staff to serve as their assistants, and offering open lines of communication. 

Other perks of this job include a brand new kitchen to cook in, access to the lake, canoes, pool, hiking trails, and a campfire full of song and joy every night. The right person for this job has the right attitude about working with young adults, they are a role model and have a positive attitude.

Assistant Cook 2024

Site Maintenance

Caring for this very special place, the LBC Site Maintenance Coordinator will live and work on camp property for most of the summer. They will be responsible for painting, repairs, cleaning, grass cutting, and more. Most importantly, they will play a big role in ensuring the grounds and facilities of the camp are safe for campers, staff and volunteers.
