This camp is designed for young adults who want to develop outdoor survival skills and explore a piece of southern Saskatchewan. It is also Bronze, Silver and Gold level qualifying for those participating in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.

Campers will be involved in goal setting and planning for this camp, plus there will be some guests—naturalists, artists, and more—who will offer their skills and expertise to enhance the experience. Aside from the first day, campers and the group facilitator will live away from the main camp site. Sleeping in tents or under the stars, preparing hot meals over a fire, and exploring Lumsden Beach Camp’s 267 acres and beyond. Moving by foot, canoe, kayak, campers will slow down and get to know the beautiful landscape of this place

The cost of this camp includes facilitation, most outdoor gear (excluding personal items), food, guest presenters, activities and more!

The groups will meet (virtually), in advance of the camp to chat about packing, to meet the facilitator, and start preparing for their Adventurous Journey!

For Duke of Edinburgh Award participants: this camp counts as a combined Bronze or Silver Practice and Qualifying Journeys. It can also count as a Gold Qualifying Journey.

*bursaries may be available for this session. please let us know if the cost is prohibitive to your participation.
